This class will cover basic safety and stroke technique. This lesson will introduce you to the sport of Stand Up Paddling (SUP). SUP is a fun way to play on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body workout. Classes will take place at Lake Bentonville for ages 16 and older. You are welcome to bring your own paddle board, but we will have boards for you to use.
SUP Fitness is a low impact exercise that is a combination of balance, strength, and endurance which are exercised whether you are paddling or just balancing on your board. It's not only an excellent core workout but also the toes, legs, back, shoulders, arms and neck which all work together. 1 hour of instruction with 30 minutes of open play paddle boarding
